The most important skill to reach your fitness goal

In our opinion, meal planning and preparation is the most important tool/skill to develop while you are in the pursuit of changing your lifestyle and becoming the 2.0 version of yourself.
Meal planning is the process of creating a plan for the meals you will eat for a certain period of time (e.g. a week). This can involve deciding what meals to make, creating a grocery list, and taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences. Meal planning can help make it easier to eat healthy, balanced meals throughout the week, and can save time and reduce stress when it comes to figuring out what to make for dinner each night.
It can also help reduce food waste and save money by allowing you to buy only the ingredients you need. Some ways to start meal planning include creating a list of meals for the week, making a grocery list, and preparing some meals in advance.
Now that you know the importance of meal planning, the fun part starts, meal prepping.
Meal prep is the process of taking the necessary steps to make the meals you have planned happen, such as shopping for ingredients and prepping them in advance. This can include things like chopping vegetables, marinating meat, and cooking grains or beans.
As you know, meal prepping will help you save time and reduce stress when it comes to making meals, as many of the steps have already been done in advance. It can also help ensure that you have healthy, balanced meals readily available throughout the week. Also, it is an effective tool for weight loss because it allows you to plan and prepare meals in advance, which can make it easier to maintain a calorie-controlled diet. When you have meals ready to go, it's less likely that you'll reach for those foods that we should have every once in a while, especially when you're short on time or feeling too lazy to cook (we all have these moments, it is not just you).
- Some ways to start meal prepping include:
- Chopping and storing vegetables
- Cooking grains or beans
- Prepping sauces or marinades
- Assembling ingredients for meals that can be quickly cooked or reheated
- Portioning out meals for the week
- Making a grocery list
- Make a schedule of when to prepare meals
